Q: Do you have to have a CDL to drive a F650 pickup truck?
I know F650’s come as dump trucks and box trucks ect. There is a pickup truck version, and I was wondering if you need a CDL to drive it.

A: You need a CDL fr trucks over 26000 GVW, The F-650 tops off at 26000 lbs. You do not need a CDL.

Q: Where can I get a F650 scaled model truck?
I’ve already goggled it. And been to many of the model car sites.

A: Try contacting Ford. Most actual vehicles have scale-model equivalents.

Q: What is the private party value of a 2000 Ford F650 26 foot box truck?
With 100k miles, the Cat diesel engine, Allison automatic transmission and a 2500 pound liftgate?

A: Depends on the trim level, price of box and lift etc. New frame, without the box, they run about $50-60k. 2000 complete I would say $30-40k area would be very fair; it has very low mileage for its age.

A: The Iceberg Silver (metallic) which was used on the F650GS has Paint Code M926, and Scheme Code 925.

A: I believe you refer to engine oil change interval. 10,000 kilometres if you drive the highway, much shorter interval if you drive along/through dusty places

The ambient temperature where you drive determine the viscosity of the engine oil you need. A multi-grade like SAE 0W-40 would suit a wider temperature fluctuation

If you do it yourself, it is the cost of the engine oil, the oil filter (replace this as you change the engine oil), the hand tools, that is about all

Q: What kind of truck should I buy, like an International MXT, or Ford F650.?
Here’s the story. I have a Hummer H2 that is dying on me quickly, so I need a new truck.

I’m really interested in the International MXT.

I also like the Ford F650, but the $300,000 is a little rough.

Does anyone have any other big truck suggestions.

A: International MXT – is a great truck.

Another is a TOPKICK by GMC.

I’m not a big fan of H2 – or H3.
I do like the H1 and original humm V’s.

A: The F650 was released almost 3 1/2 years ago. Sorry, but a camera that old, isn’t worth fixing…

A: The brand matters not. Where you buy it, is a whole different story … for now buy your cards at a large chain electronics store or one like Wal-Mart , or K-Mart or Target.

There have been some fake memory cards being sold on the Internet, most notably eBay.

Q: 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250 or the 2002 BMW f650 GS?
I need to decide between the two and am a new rider looking to stay economical and practical. Both get great gas mileage. Looking to commute to work where I am on the expressway 90% of the time.

I have a deposit on the Ninja but it has not arrived yet. Tired of waiting(2 months already); ready to start riding. Is the BMW F650 GS a good bike for a beginner?

A: I’m having a tough time finding the common denominator between these two bikes? I guess they both have 2 wheels. After that, commuting on the freeway requires a bike that will keep up with freeway traffic. Why not look in the 500cc road bike category, similar to and larger than the 250 Ninja?

Q: how strong is the ford f650 Cummins motor?
do you think it would give me alot more then a 100k miles?

A: The Catterpillar 3126B and Cummins 5.9L are both very strong. Yes, you should expect more than 100K miles, with proper maintenance.

Q: 2002 F650 Cummins deisel service engine light comes on. Have changed oil,air & fuel filters ?
I’m going to start changing sensers?
Have had scanned doesnt pull any codes.

A: Wouldn’t it be cheaper to get it scanned for trouble codes and then fix the problem?? Just a thought unless you are rich enough to change all the sensors and then it still won’t work.

A: Don’t bother with cables or special software!

The easiest and best method to transfer photos and video from your camera to your computer is via a little USB card reader (which are very cheap these days and widely available).

Card readers also work for moving photos from the computer onto a card.

Plug the reader into a USB port and insert the memory card.
It will show up as a drive, and you can simply drag and drop the photos across to the folder of your choice.

Q: My 3yr old BMW F650 Funduro jerks when hot, doing 80 -100kph and the rev counter goes into the red.?
The bike does not stall but suddenly jerks. I restart the motor and it is fine for another 10k when it does it again. Any ideas? Carb seems likely, but the bike has done only 14k kls and has been regularly serviced.

A: Could be slipping or badly adjusted clutch.The revs going into the red suggests that the drive has disconnected temporarily. If you blip the throttle while ‘riding’ the clutch at traffic lights the clutch wears out quickly.
